CyberSage is an MLH Hack Day focused on building AI-powered cybersecurity solutions using Google Gemini. This event is designed to help students explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and digital security through hands-on learning and rapid prototyping.
Participants will work individually or in teams to create innovative solutions that address real-world cybersecurity challenges such as phishing detection, data privacy, and user awareness. The event emphasizes learning, collaboration, and practical implementation in a beginner-friendly environment.
Tools and TechnologiesParticipants are encouraged to use the following tools and technologies:
-
Google Gemini API (mandatory)
-
Programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
-
Frontend frameworks like HTML, CSS, React
-
Backend frameworks such as Node.js, Flask, or Django
-
Version control using Git and GitHub
-
Any open-source libraries or tools relevant to the project
With the rapid growth of digital platforms, cybersecurity has become a critical concern for individuals and organizations. At the same time, advancements in AI are opening new possibilities to detect, prevent, and respond to threats more effectively.
CyberSage aims to inspire participants to leverage AI, especially Google Gemini, to build smart and accessible security solutions. The goal is to encourage innovation that not only solves technical problems but also creates meaningful impact, especially for users with limited digital awareness.
